I actually think this weekend is a great introspective time for all of us on this beautiful planet we call home.

Many things are about to change in our lives.  How we think, feel and speak things into being is very ripe now. Our actions become secondary to our thoughts, feelings and speech so it is important to take a few moments now.  Let’s really think about how we communicate to ourselves with our thoughts, to others with our words and to our bodies with our feelings. Communications of all kinds are up for us to examine for this next six month period ushered in by this eclipse cycle, which includes the Lunar eclipse on June 4th.

There is so much angelic guidance available now so contemplation, meditation and active daily spiritual blissaplines are important for this blessed connection. Whatever you believe in now, even if you believe in nothing at all, prepare for personal and global happenings. We are on the fast track, as a global village, to the next phase of developement as spiritual beings residing in human bodies on Gaia.

This is all exciting and liberating yet not without growing pains. Just like any birth, it can be joyous and painful at the same time! The best way to enjoy this process is to let go and let your angels and guides or your God do the driving. Let Spirit take the wheel!

This is a growing time of seeking value and meaning in our lives, our familes, our friendships, our work, our marriages, our play and where we live. So, communication really is the first thing that needs our attention if we are to realize value and meaning, deep peace, and constant celebration in all these areas of our lives.

Relationships of all kinds ARE the deep, constant resonating source of BEING on this planet. How do we manage them all? Is it more imporatant to have fewer connections that are more meaningful? Is the face of social networking superficial because we cannot possibly have deep connections with that many people or is there a balance that we have yet to find?

There are millions more single people in this country now than ten years ago. Is marriage obsolete now except for financial reasons and children? Aren’t there many different kinds of marriages and relationships that work? Can’t we open our hearts and embrace a different way of looking and being in relationships whether they be love relationships, marriage, children, friendships, workmates, frenemies or ex-whatevers?

How we communicate or commune with each individual or group of people is what we must consider at this time for optimal results. Are we communicating with love in every situation? This eclipse throws down the gauntlet and challenges us to do just that!

How do we know if we have really released enough? If we are still in pain, in some way, this is the indicator that we have more to release. There is no need to judge ourselves or others, it is just the energetic signature of the times we are in. We can resist the changes or flow with them, allow them to wash over us and thru us on their way to somewhere else. The harder we try to hang on to people, places and things, judgements, outdated ideas and pain of any kind, the longer the duration of our struggles.

This means if something wants to go, let it. Mostimes, this seems painful yet if we can look past the pain we can arrive at the other more positive emotions involved like relief!  We can even get to a place of freedom from pain.

This Scorpio Supermoon is illuminating the fact that we are, as a global collective, leaving the need for pain.

These are exciting times, if we embrace change. The Golden Age of Peace is not a fantasy. It is real and on the way. First, however, we must shake things up in our world, be fearless, decide to be joyfuil and grateful as we move through massive changes. There are so many positive  new things to see and experience in our world because the world is becoming more heart centered. Look for these things. Revel in these things. Look for the new ways, let the old ways pass. Be willing to help usher in the new heart centered ways as the old need for pain inside and outside you is released.

Be excited. Be hopeful. Walk in peace and BE a light for others around you who are just catching up now because all they see around them is chaos.  Know the truth in your heart and spread it around. Remember the ancient ways are the most powerful ways: walk your talk!

Like attracts like so the other is always a mirror into our deepest soul. So, if we are still in bodies our mission is not over on this planet! Our mission is to evolve as souls journeying on Planet Earth.

All of our issues are/will be up front and center around love as we travel into this Venus Retrograde in Gemini which starts May 15, 2012 and ends June 27.  We will all breathe a collective sigh of relief and celebrate, as Saturn turns forward at last on Jun 25.  So, we will come out of this period of time with a greater sense of meaning in our lives and deeper relationships.  We will understand our own values and what we need versus what we want. We will have identified what is really important to us in the areas of love, self-worth, resources and money.

Let’s find our way back to love. That is the anthem playing in the background of our lives for the next ten weeks.

We have all been fed incurable romantic ideals through the media of what love should look like. And it may look that way in the beginning. Who doesn’t want to be swept off their feet in an avalanche of affection? There can be so much fire in the beginning of a relationship that it burns our quickly or a slow burn can happen and last quite a long time. There are so many different ways to accept love, yet that is the key, ACCEPT LOVE. We can refuse to see what is being offered to us while we hunger for that which seems out of our reach. We can be so prioritized on what a perfect love partner should look like that we ignore the inside or figure we can change that later. All of these behaviors, these trial and error love dealings are not mistakes just growing pains. It becomes more apparent as we grow older and wiser that we are not looking for validation from another if we give that validation to ourselves.

So, what are we looking for then? Why do we need a love connection in our lives if we no longer need validation that we are lovable just as we are? What if we have already had children or are not interested in having them? What if we are not desperate single mothers in need of financial and emotional support? What if we are not starving artists in need of finacial stability so we can produce art? What if we no longer crave power and status in a partner to show off to others? What if we are no longer looking for a father figure to take care of us and protect us from harsher realities? What if we have checked out of the media love hype which is based on selling us stuff we don’t need? There are so many scenarios why people hook up that have little or nothing to do with true love. There is no judgement here, whatever works, works!  Yet, in my experience, later one partner is miserable and calling me!

So, again, why do we need and crave a deep connection with another soul on this planet in a body?  I have come to this conclusion: this connection with another, and all our relationships, become the fastest way to grow and evolve and this soul growth and evolutionary expansion is why we incarnated in the first place. It all becomes more intense this year because we have an energetic speedup of evolution taking place right NOW! So, the frantic dance of exchanging partners, divorce, exposure, syncrohonized meetups, extended families has reached a fevor pitch. There are no mistakes, forgiving ourselves and others is paramount now and treating every encounter with gratitude for our soul growth is mandatory. Yet, we are the masters of our own universes. We call our own shots. We determine what we wish to experience next. Ask!

It becomes very important now to believe in something bigger that ourselves, co-create everything in our lives and most importantly our love partners. We never did this on our own. It’s just becoming more apparent now as we recognize the intense synchronicities around everything in our lives.

So, to conclude this Rumi-nation on love, have fun. Take things less seriously. Love is a journey. A learning experience. There is no right or wrong so let’s forgive ourselves and move on to our next experience or deepen the one we have going at the moment.  After the initial glow wears off the only thing to consider is: Are we getting as much as we give? Are we giving as much as we get? Is that important? Why? And finally: Are we in a state of gratitude for our partner in every moment and at all times?

Since relationships of all kinds are up for many, and going to get more intense over the next ten weeks, I thought it a good idea to examine a common theme.  There is a common identity crisis that we don’t realize exists in our personalities until we are forced against a wall in most cases.  This crisis in our core personality is one of worthiness.

We all deserve love and support yet why do we attract just the opposite at times?

It seems that many of us are taught in our first family that to get along or be loved we must fit in and sublimate our true being or risk being punished.  So many times in early childhood we are punished for just being ourselves so we grow up trying to be something we really are not. We convince ourselves that we must be ALL THAT to get love, support, affection, friendship and ‘fit in’.  We learn to people please at such an early age that we are not even aware that we do this. In fact, we deny any trace of people pleasing in ourselves yet continue to attract others who need contant attention and demand that we play a secondary role to them. Why is this?

Most times we have given our significant other the impression that we are in their lives to cater to their needs because this has become a habit. We think this is the only way to be accepted and loved because we have experienced nothing else. This is the old way of being in relationship taught to us by parents who had this taught to them by their parents. So, really what we are talking about here is breaking a  engrained cycle of relationship dysfunction.

When we can no longer keep this overgiving behavior up, because our energy is so drained by the imbalanece of give and take in the relationship, there are complaints, discomfort, dissappointment on both sides. The entire relationship is now built on this unreasonable and unrealistic premise. The other now complains, withholds,  mistreats us, manipulates us to get their own way back again. Then beaten down, we cave in and continue with resignation to cater to their needs by overgiving. We are actually enabling them to continue bad behavior learned from their first family.  We become miserable yet can’t stop this behavior because deep down we are afraid of punishment, withdrawal of love and abandonment.   Deep down we are afraid of being alone and finally facing ourselves. We have bought into the lie that we are not enough.

So, we suffer, complain to our friends and justify our behavior so we can continue it. In other words, we don’t know any other way to be in relationship. Ironically, we need time to discover who we really are and what we really want and need. We need peace to grow up. We need peace to evolve.

Our signicant other is not a villian by the way. We have betrayed ourselves. We have offered up a person to them that they want and need. This person is not necessarily who we really are or we would be happy.  So, actually WE have deceived THEM. Not on purpose, most times.

This is our lack of self worth speaking loud and clear. By trying desperately to be someone that another wants, so we can be with them, is a worthiness issue. We have to realize that we are enough just as we are. If not, we are with the wrong person. Willing ourselves to be someone else that fits into another person’s idea of what they want and need is folly and backfires on our ass everytime!

Not every relationship will end if we are brave enough to show who we really are. It is just my experience that we must show our true selves right away so there are no unrealistic expectations at the beginning. Yet, if we have not taken the time to find out who we are, if we decide to do that work inside a relationship or if we enter a relationship with ideas to change our partner into someone we want, HOUSTON, WE HAVE A PROBLEM!

Does he or she look the ideal mate on the OUTSIDE? Is the person on the INSIDE a second priority in the beginning of the relationship?

If he or she looks like what we want on the outside we cannot change the inside later. That is where all the problems begin. There will be resentment and that can look many ways and last a looooooooooong time.  We all know that old adage -’The only person you can change is yourself.’

Let’s accept the core challenge to really know ourselves.  Let’s give ourselves the space to let Divine Magic into our lives.

What really is most important to us? This period of time we are entering challenges us to find out without delay! Are we chasing the idea of success at any cost because we are still trying to prove something to others and to ourselves  or are we after real happiness, good health, deep fulfilling relationships and meaningful work.

What does making a difference every day really mean?

Are we grateful for everything in our lives even what seems like lack?

Are we suddenly aware of a storehouse of anger we had no previous idea existed in us?

Are we competetive and pushing to make things happen or giving in to our unique and blessed Divine Timing?

Are we honoring ourselves with sacred space and time in Nature to recharge and reconnect with the Divine inside us?

The feminine principle is becoming dominant on our gorgeous blue/ green globe.  This energy is anchored in our hearts during the next ten weeks.  This means that most of us are challenged daily to combine our right and left brains. Women, of course, are blessed with an abundance of this energy unless they have existed in their masculine polarity to “get ahead”.  Men are catching up yet many are angry because the old way of being in the world no longer works for them.  There are other men who have longed for this gentle, flowing energy and have dropped out of mainstream society which, for the most part, encourages them to abuse themselves.

Relationships between the sexes are changing, morphing. The dance is getting wonderful, astonishing and wild. This time is not about selfishness. It is about empowerment for both sexes. It is about deep listening, patience, gratitude, kindness, fortitude, and most of all this new energy is about throwing expectations to the wind and staying right where we are every minute and being grateful for that moment.

There is another important relationship besides our lovers, mates, children, families, friends and pets.  Today is Earth Day! Let us all celebrate out relationship to our home. Like our birthdays, celebrating once a year becomes pointless. Why not celebrate ourselves and the Earth, our home, everyday? Like our health and our bodies, without Gaia, we would not exist as a species. It’s that simple. Do we take our bodies and our health for granted? Do we take Gaia for granted or do we bless her everyday?

Let’s kick of this ten week period of immense change and magic with gratitude and love for our home, Planet EARTH, GAIA!

What all is gonna happen? We are all so polarized at the moment that we forget how simple these transitions can be if we can just let go.

No- one knows for sure what is going to happen. Even the indigenous peoples are at odds with many an ancient theory. The only thing we know for sure is that we can embrace change joyfully or resist it and end up in pain.

So, this is my love letter to all of us funions who love this life and intend to see a kinder world evolve out of these change times.

Putting the intention out there, asking for Divine help and then letting it go is a concept that is not always easy to accomplish as we watch situations spiral out of our control. Sometimes, things have to reach a certain pinnacle before the energy breaks and grace intervenes. In retrospect, we begin to understand this yet sometimes in the now we anticipate the worst.  As we travel through the situation, we forget to ask for grace to intervene daily or even in every moment. We forget to hand over our troubles to our angels, guides or God and can no longer tune into our own inner guidance system.

We complain, we engage in drama which creates more drama and more complaints. A negative spiral develops and we are trapped in the chaos of our own making. When we are not patient and do not really trust in any Divine Power, we muscle things to happens in a way that we assume we want. This is called WILLFULLNESS: something we must all look at in this moment as we approach doorways of consciousness that are beckoning us to enter.

I have watched myself ignore very literal signs because I wanted something else. I was Willful and ignored or rejected my very strong guidance system. Why? I have rumi-nated on this for a few weeks now. This is what I have come up with- I pushed, I refused to wait, I didn’t see any movement in a certain area of my life and tried to muscle an outcome that was obviously wrong for me so I paid a price.

I LOST MY FAITH OR TRUST IN MY HIGHER GUIDANCE BECAUSE DIVINE TIMING IS NEVER MY TIMING. SO I AM HUMBLED ONCE AGAIN.

I am so grateful that this lesson was not life altering, yet it was a big wakeup call to me about my own Willfulness in this are of my life. I am a fire sign and this kind of behavior has been a great joy and a great disappointment simultaneously all my life!  We are all human, no-one has all the answers if we are in bodies. So, I am laughing at my crazy behavior and am seeing my own folly clearly this time. Thankyou God!

Divine Timing always illuminates our desires and needs if we stay in gratitude. That is the only task we need to accept in the now. Gratitude. Let go and let Divine Timing have its way. We may be surprised with greater miracles than we can imagine if we keep our faith and trust in DIVINE TIMING instead of muscling an outcome that will only disappoint us because we couldn’t wait and became defiant and willful!

As I work my way through Rhonda Byrne’s last book “MAGIC”, I am heartened to know that millions of people around the globe are doing the same thing! We are all practicing gratitude. Wow! I am excited and very grateful for Rhonda Byrne at this moment because she is helping to tip the consciousness of the world in the kindest direction with her great following of worldwide fans who are actively participating in their soul growth and evolution. It is no accident that this new book hit the stands when it did.

There are many people working hard to tip the scales of consciousness so we can all move into the higher vibrations together.  The astrological agenda is compatible with this.  We can be held on the wheel of karma by relying too heavily on astrology, after all it is just a tool, a map not the territory, so whether you believe in the heavenly movements as catalysts for our lives or not, we all believe in gratitude!

Gratitude, being thankful, is universal.  It is the core of all religions. It is like breathe, we cannot live without it.

The moon is my master teacher and around full moons and new moons I get the most information and sometimes need the most rest.  The moon dictates my moods so I have finally climbed aboard my soul train. Yes, I finally have learned to time things according to the moon cycles.  Sure, I bucked this for a long time. We all tend to muscle our way through our twenties and thirties yet as we cross the age of forty we wise up to forces that are seemingly beyond our control. We learn later in life to flow instead of struggle.

Some tell me they are energized by a challenge, and I do understand this to a point, yet more and more clients are calling me with restlessness, low energy, tension for no good reason and unreasonable moodiness. Methinks it is time to wise up to the moon cycles.

Full moons, like this one on April 6, 2012, are release cycles and this one is extra powerful because it is the first of three supermoons. Supermoons orbit closest to the Earth and are in line with the Sun and Moon. This results in greater gravitational pulls on tides, tectonic plates and our emotions. So, we could find ourselves weepy, angry, restless, spoiling for a fight or so out of touch with our own emotions that we act out in many other ways for no good reason. Used positively, full moon cycles are great sacred ceremony times for gatherings, great for fininshing up projects or refining them, tuning into others with precision, cleaning out clutter in all area of our lives and communing with pets and animals.  Full moons cultivate energy then release it.

New moon cycles are best to start new projects, new jobs, new romances and new disciplines or blissaplines.

Heads up: We are headed into sacred territory where a gratitude practice is the blissapline that will carry us through these Supermoons, Eclipses and a Venus Retrograde followed by another heavy Mercury retrograde! This is a powerful combo of events that is coming our way.  Please think about the gratitude practice that is right for you.  One that fits into your day. I practice gratitude weeding,  I love my body yoga, thankyou so very much core exercises, I am so grateful hikes, Hallelu-yah-all dishwashing, gratitude singing in my car as I drive and I find the best thing in my day at sleeptime to be thankful for as I drift off. These are just a few creative examples. I am sure you can have fun with thinking up your own personalized gratitude practice.

Think about the moon cycles also. What happens to you in your life whether you plan it or not? Isn’t it time to respect and honor the moon and master Her energies?

 We have entered an astounding period of time where the access to join the sacred feminine and the sacred masculine within us in up and on the table.

Many people ask me why is it that they can’t get their partner to step up into a committed relationship. We are really having a relationship with ourselves and our partners have been mirrors to tell us where we need to pick up the pace and grow. Now, we are all confronted with a choice. Do we want to continue attracting a mate, partner or lover who pushes us intensely through many doorways in an uncomfortable and over emotional way or do we step back and let these new energies of self completon wash through us so we can attrack another who has also joined their sacred feminine and sacred masculine within? Yes, these relationships will look and feel different. A more compatible, less volital atmosphere of mutual respect and love will result.

If we choose to do this work on ourselves, sometimes that looks like steppng away from sabotaging relationships which don’t allow us to move in this direction. Of course, we have chosen these disempowering relationships for just that reason, to wakeup from our self imposed inertia!

Love is changing. Relationships are changing. Transformation is on the table.

First, our relationship with ourselves must be allowed to change and we must create space in our lives to achieve this. The astrological influences of this time and energetics from solar flare activities are here to help us if we slow down and intergrate them. The exhausting pace of our electronic global society leaves little time for contemplation. Yet, this is exactly what is needed in this month of completions called April 2012.

Many clients have called me to ask why they are moving so slowly and feeling almost lethargic as we enter this gorgeous April. It is the turning of the seasons into spring, yet there is so much heavenly activity that prevents us from moving forward at this time. Most people are still pushing and shoving and trying to get ahead in one way or another. So, they are exhausted! That has been our modus opererendi as human beings, to grab that brass ring! Most of us have been slowed to a snail pace to re-evaluate that brass ring we are reaching for at this time. What is it really that we desire?  What are our real priorities? Who is important to us and why? Where are we sabotaging ourselves and disempowering our birthright of abundance? Are we constantly complaining about something or someone or are we ready to be pro-active in this completion month or April 2012?

I keep referring to completions because we cannot truly move forward in May without addressing all the things that don’t work in our lives.

So, this amazing month of energetic alchemy within us, that joins and balances our sacred feminine and sacred masculine, is a revelation and a gift from the heavens.  A true blessing. Please slow down and allow the magic of this Time of Butterflies. This time of mass global transformation within each of us. Let these energies transform you and all your relationships into kinder, gentler people with more compassion and nurturing abilities. In turn, these new gifts will fan out out and effect the world around us.

A kinder, gentler world is now upon us. Use this month wisely.
